⁸ Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and he pitched his tent with ^(A)Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to Yahweh and ^(B)called upon the name of Yahweh. ⁹ And Abram journeyed on, continuing toward ^(C)the ^[a]Negev.
